Whitted School and Preiss Steele Place Apartments, Project-Based Rental Assistance Senior Waiting List

The Durham Housing Authority (DHA) is accepting Senior Section 8 Project-Based Rental Assistance waiting list applications for Whitted School and Preiss Steele Place Apartments from the earliest confirmed open date of February 19, 2021, until further notice.

Please note: This is NOT the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher program. Must be 62 years of age or older.

This waiting list is for the following properties:

• Veranda at Whitted School - located at 200 E. Umstead Street, Durham, NC 27707.
• Preiss-Steele Place - located at 500 Pickwick Trail, Durham NC 27704.

Preferences have not yet been confirmed.

It is not known how applicants will be placed on the waiting list, by order of preferences.
