Morristown Housing Authority Public Housing Waiting List

The Morristown Housing Authority (MHA) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list applications for families and senior/disabled households.The MHA offers one Public Housing community with 667 units for families and senior/disabled households.To apply, visit the MHA website, and click the "Apply" link at the top of the website.Please note: According to the MHA, "Submitting the application using a cell phone is not recommended."Once the application has been submitted, applicants have five business days to visit the MHA office, located at 600 Sulphur Springs Rd., Morristown, TN 37813, to sign forms and bring the following documents: Social Security Card and birth certificates of all household members, drivers license or photo ID of all adult household members, final divorce decree (if applicable), proof of income/support, assets, medical verification of pregnancy (if applicable), proof of child custody (if applicable), previous government housing name and address (if applicable), rental/resident history and landlord information of the last two years.No preferences were noted.Important note: Applicants who have been placed on the waiting list must inform the housing authority immediately if your application information changes (such as contact information, income, and household members). In the case that the office sends a notice that does not get returned, or if application information is out of date, your name may be terminated from the waiting list.
