Mobile County, Alabama Mainstream Voucher Waiting List

The Mobile Housing Authority (MHA) last accepted Mainstream Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from September 15, 2023, until 350 applications were received. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

Please note: This waiting list was for Mainstream Applicants Only. Applicants must be non-elderly persons ages 18-61 with disabilities.

To apply while the waiting list was open, applicants were required to complete the online application.

Preferences have not yet been confirmed.

It was not known how applicants will be placed on the waiting list.
