The Centerville Municipal Housing Agency (CMHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently open until further notice.To apply, visit the CMHA to pick up a pre-application, located at 317 E Oak St., Centerville, IA52544, from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm CT; and 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm, Monday-Friday.Once the pre-application has been completed, it must be hand delivered to the address listed above, from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm; and 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm, Monday-Friday.Be sure to include these documents with the pre-application: Social Security Cards, proof of all income, birth certificates, and photo IDs for all adult household members.The CMHA does have a preference for applicants who live and/or work in Centerville.For more information, the CMHA can be reached by calling (641) 856-8742, from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm; and 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm, Monday-Friday.
