Lonoke County Housing Authority Section 8 Voucher Waiting List

Please note: Lonoke County Housing Authority covers Lonoke County, AR, with the exception of Cabot, AR.

The Lonoke County Housing Authority (LCHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently open until further notice.

There are three ways to apply:

1. Request to have a pre-application mailed to you by calling (870) 552-3554, from 8:00 am until 4:30 CT, Monday-Thursday.
2. Download a pre-application online, then print and complete.
3. Visit the LCHA office to pick up a pre-application, located at 617 N Greenlaw Ave., Carlisle, AR 72024, from 8:00 am until 4:30 pm, Monday-Thursday.

Once the pre-application has been completed, it can be mailed to P.O Box 74, Carlisle, AR 72024, or hand delivered to the address listed above, from 8:00 am until 4:30 pm, Monday-Thursday.

Be sure to include these documents with the pre-application: Social Security Cards and birth certificates for all household members, photo IDs for all adult household members, marriage license (if applicable), divorce decree (if applicable), Declaration 214 status for each household member, Debts owed to Public Housing Agencies and Terminations - complete one for each adult household member, copy of permanent resident card (if applicable), proof of all income, child support printout, child care verification (if applicable), verification of student status (if applicable), if over age 62 or disabled verification of medical expenses that have been paid out of pocket, and certification by pregnant household member (if applicable).

The LCHA does have a working preference.
